What is plastisol ink?

Plastisol ink is the most durable and popular choice for custom-printed garments on the market.

At what temperature is plastisol dried?

In our process, each layer of ink on our custom screen-printed merchandise is flash-dried, reaching up to 320 degrees. After passing through the various screens, the garment is then placed on a 10-foot long heated conveyor belt three separate times.

What finishes are available for plastisol printing?

We offer two types of finishes for plastisol ink: matte and glossy. For those seeking a sparkly or shiny finish, we provide different services like shimmer ink or foil finish.

Are all plastisol inks the same?

No, they are not. Many plastisol inks are produced in China using environmentally unstable materials. We source our plastisol from trusted vendors in Italy, Japan, and the US to ensure quality.

Is there a color limit for plastisol printing?

Yes, we can provide prints with up to 8 colors. If you need more than 8 colors, we recommend exploring water-based transfer printing.

Can plastisol inks work on any fabric?

Yes, we test and adjust our ink formulas to ensure compatibility with any fabric.

Do plastisol inks fade or crack?

It is possible for plastisol inks to fade or crack if not printed or cured properly. We always adjust the formula to best suit your selected fabric to prevent these issues.

Can you screen print plastisol inks on dark fabric?

Yes, plastisol inks can be effectively screen printed on dark fabrics using either a regular plastisol base as a primary layer or a discharged waterbase for an extra smooth feel.
